This page is a summary of our ranks, how they work, and our roles, and how they work. Each wolf earns a ranking and a role (a job) for the pack.

Roles:

Hunters/ Gaurdians: Takes care of enemy packs, and rivals, and also protects the pack. Finds territories also, gaurds the territory from other packs, and many hunting grounds.  Helps protect over the entire pack. Open to all members.

Shamans: Watches over all juvenile members and guides them to becoming a true member of the pack. Trains them for what rank they desire, and is a wise mentor. Only two members may become Shamans.

Howlers: These roles are designed for more social members of the pack. They moderate the pack get togethers, and are the main resource for contacting and planning meet ups with the pack. Watches over pack rankings also. Only three members may become Howlers.

Pups: All members start out as pups, just learning the ways. Very little responsibility, and learns many things. You have to be a pup for 2 days before getting a role in the pack

Ranks:

Beta (second in command): This is the wolf in second command, and very respected. Fills in for alpha when gone, and is just as important as the alpha. Only trusted members can become the beta.

Bider (mid ranking wolf): This ranking is nuetral, and this is where most members will end up. Biders are very important also, and are respected too.

Omega (end ranking wolf): This rank is given to the wolf that is usually cowardice, or basically the clown of the pack. Omegas are not as respected, but are very much appreciated and are also an important dynamic in the pack. They usually bring light hearted-ness in times of depression.

Juvenile (wolf with no rank): This is where all members start out. A juvenile is basically a wolf who has not learned their rank yet. The rank is not just given; it is earned. Very important, and the only way to become a higher ranking is to start out as a pup.
